Some of the higher end plans offer much more than that though. Some companies will even pay for boarding fee’s if you are ill and unable to take care of the dog.

The cost of pet insurance for dogs usually ranges from $20 to $30 a month, but this depends on the company, the breed, and the age of your dog. Some rates also depend on where you live.
